Terms of Service
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Overview
EZ-Updater is a WordPress plugin that allows businesses to update website content — such as availability, hours, and status messages — by sending a message through Telegram. By using EZ-Updater, you agree to these terms. The free base plugin is open source, licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later, and may also be obtained from WordPress.org.
Use of Service
- You are responsible for all content you publish through EZ-Updater.
- Do not use EZ-Updater to publish false, misleading, harmful, or illegal content.
- Do not use EZ-Updater for spam, abuse, or any malicious purpose.
- You must comply with both WordPress and Telegram's own terms of service.
Accounts and Access
EZ-Updater does not use a traditional account system. Access to paid features is tied to a license key issued at purchase. You are responsible for keeping your license key and Telegram bot credentials secure. Do not share your license key or bot access with unauthorized parties.
Payments
- Live Telegram updates are included free for one site. Pro and Agency plans add scheduling, the Elementor widget, smarter Telegram features, and multi-site management.
- Pricing is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated before they take effect for existing customers.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific uptime levels.
- All payments are processed through Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds
Pro and Agency are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be billed again. All payments are final and non-refundable. When a subscription ends, paid features stop working; the free plugin and your widgets keep working. To cancel, contact support.
No Guarantees / Disclaimer
EZ-Updater is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, delivery speed, compatibility with every WordPress theme or plugin, or that updates will reach your site without delay. Use of this service is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
- EZ-Updater is not liable for lost revenue, business interruption, or reputational harm resulting from incorrect or missed updates.
- We are not liable for errors caused by content you send via Telegram.
- We are not liable for issues originating from WordPress, Telegram, or your hosting environment.
- In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the last 12 months.
Third-Party Services
EZ-Updater relies on the following third-party services to operate:
- Stripe — used to process subscription payments for Pro and Agency plans.
- Telegram — used for message delivery between you and your WordPress site.
- EZ-Updater bridge — Telegram updates are relayed through the EZ-Updater bridge, a hosted service operated by us on Cloudflare infrastructure.
- WordPress — the platform on which the plugin is installed and operates.
We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes from these services. Each has their own terms of service that you are responsible for reviewing.
Termination
We reserve the right to revoke license access if a user is found to be abusing or misusing the service, including but not limited to sending harmful content, violating these terms, or attempting to reverse-engineer the plugin.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of EZ-Updater after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
